What has a Drinking Water Filter got to do With Weight Loss?

loose weight with water

By installing a Drinking Water filter in your home, you will have pure, great-tasting water straight from your tap, making it easy to drink those 8-10 glasses of water a day that are recommended for weight loss. Few people actually like the taste of US drinking water and is it any wonder when US water supplies contain hundreds of toxic contaminants including chlorine, fluoride, heavy metals, herbicides and pesticides, just to name a few.

However, adequate water consumption is so important; it really does provide the foundation for any good weight loss program... no matter what that program is! Water is probably the most-overlooked and underrated weight loss strategy there is!

Filtered water is cheap, safe; readily available, delicious and totally free of side-effects so it would be wiser to spend a few dollars on a decent water filtration system than on expensive weight loss supplements that don’t always work.

There is such a large range of inexpensive water treatment systems to choose from these days, from simple water filters for your tap to whole house water filters, and if your water tastes absolutely delicious, you will automatically drink more.

Increase Your Water, Increase Your Kidney Function

Drinking more water will not only maintain and encourage proper kidney function, but it will increase the efficiency of the liver’s fat burning ability. If you aren’t consuming enough pure water, the kidneys won’t be functioning at their optimum level. The liver will then have to take on the job of the kidneys as well as its own, which slows down its fat burning ability, meaning slower weight loss.

Supress Your Appetite!

Increasing your water intake will also suppress your appetite. Often when we think we are hungry we are actually thirsty, so drinking a couple of glasses of water can take away those hunger pangs. If you spread your water intake throughout the day, you will find that you are a lot less likely to snack between meals.

Re-Hydrate Your Body

One of the many benefits of drinking water is that it also helps to reduce water retention by stopping the body from hoarding its limited supply. When your body is dehydrated, it holds on to the little amount of water it is given. You’ll find that in the beginning, as you increase your water consumption, you will visit the bathroom frequently, but this will ease off after a few days when the body has become accustomed to being in a hydrated state. Many people on the planet don’t even know how good it feels to be properly hydrated because they never drink enough water.

Lose Weight!

Drinking more water is a must if you want to lose weight! By drinking lots of filtered water, your body will be functioning at its most optimum level, which means that it will be much easier to burn unwanted fat, re-hydrate your body, increase your energy levels and feel years younger!
